"Baby Wings" (Begonia semperflorens 'Baby Wing White', Wax-leaf Begonia) Nikon D300, 400mm, F/4, 1/400s, ISO 200
These are the days where I am so glad to have a swimming pool! Outside temperatures should be over 90 degrees again (not complaining), so it was wise to be up and out early before things got too hot to handle.
While other annual plants may suffer in the heat, wax-leaf begonias don’t mind at all. Sure, the leaves may brown a bit, but the flowers…they keep on coming!
Just remember to water and fertilize, and these sunny little blooms will last the whole summer long.
See you at the pool!
