There’s just something about an old flat bed Ford that is as American as apple pie or Uncle Sam. A reminder of when things moved slower and checking under the hood didn’t involve a degree in computers.

“Fill ‘er up!” (Ford F100 Truck) Nikon D300, 105mm, F/22, 1/100s, -1.0EV, ISO 640

I wasn’t even born when this truck was in its heyday but I can just imagine the miles of road it has seen and the stories it could tell. These days it is more of a prop for photographs at a local farm but it is fun to watch folks walk by and touch the hood, as if doing so could transport them back to that simpler time.

Yeah, nice truck indeed.
