“Holiday Wishes” (Holiday Fireworks over Cinderella’s Castle) Nikon D300, 28mm, F/9, 1/15s, ISO 2500

You just can’t beat the fireworks displays at Walt Disney World!

At Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, the show gets even better with the castle covered in twinkling icicles and colorful fireworks exploding high overhead. Simply spectacular!

  1. Wish I was there. It looks breathtaking.
Kudos on Jim’s contribution also. Love Ya

    • Thanks mom! The weather has been beautiful, too! That is the best part!:-)

  2. I got a bit confused reading some archives today! I was meandering through October, then I popped into November and saw MORE Disney pictures. While reading archives, it of course comes up backwards. I thought at first you had decided to post some other shots from your trip because, let’s face it, November and early December are quite challenging to a 365 photographer. Then I realized, you actually took TWO trips to Disney last fall! Lucky you!

    • I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your taking the time and trouble to go back through the blog archives! Glad you are finding images you like!

Yes, we are very spoiled in that we get to go to Disney as often as we’d like. We haven’t missed a Food & Wine Festival except for the very first one! (It’s a great excuse to dine on exceptionally good food and wine!) We also love Disney at Christmastime so we go there each year in late November, early December to ‘kick off’ the holiday season. So much fun! 🙂
