The first snow came and, it was the good, sticky kind that makes the world look like a winter wonderland! The melting happened quickly as temperatures rose, revealing the lovely red branches of my Coral Bark Japanese Maple.

"Peppermint Bark" (Snow Covered Branch of Coral Bark Japanese Maple 'Sango Kaku') Nikon D300, 70mm, F/9, 1/320s, -0.3EV, ISO 200

Set against a crisp, blue sky, it looks good enough to eat!
