  1. Look at him! What a chunk!

I have to confess, that until I started training my lens on these guys, I only considered them a nuisance, at best… But how can I resist? Great shot!

    • Whenever I need comic relief, I go out and photograph the squirrels and chipmunks. They never disappoint!

  2. Love this shot. The vintage effect is one of my favorites.

    Excellent!

    • Some captures just scream for the vintage effect. In this case, the natural colors were quite blah but I loved the shallow depth of field giving the fur such a fluffy quality. This particular filter, along with a bit of dodging and burning, made it what I wanted it to be! Thanks, Juan! 🙂

  3. Must be cold for him to look like this. The free food also helps. LOL

My Dad has a running feud with his local squirrels each winter. Really is fun to watch the squirrels seemingly taunt him.

    • Ha! Funny about your dad, Scott! Our squirrels do get lots of free food and yet, I swear in the early fall, they sit in the tall oak trees and try to toss acorns on our heads! We still love them anyways! 😀

  4. Man that’s a gorgeous photo. The crop and effects are perfect for it. Really nice job.

    • Thanks Dave! I really couldn’t go wrong with this subject!

  5. that is true, nice pic he looks like a nut lol

  6. Ha, funny! Love this. I know that I know your reference in the photo title “I’m not fat, I’m fluffy” but it is escaping me at the moment!

    • Thanks, Karma! I LOVE my critters!! 🙂

This line is from comedian Gabriel Iglesias. Funny guy!
