I have to confess that most likely this isn’t a dew drop (as it has been extremely dry around these parts with no appreciable rain for weeks) but rather a leftover sprinkle from the morning’s watering via the irrigation system.

Still, such a sunny little bloom for a sunny little saturday! 🙂

  1. So soft, it’s great!

  2. I love the macro shots. This is lovely.
If the weather here is any indication of what is headed your way, you will have some appreciable rain very soon!

    • Thank you, Karma! 🙂

YES! We did get rain today – so needed! Thankfully, not a bad storm, just a good, soaking rain. Right now we are in a bit of a reprieve and expect more soon! (Still got in the pool for quite a few HOT sunny hours earlier and soon will be heading out to Boston for some Sushi, so all in all, not a bad day!)

  3. We certainly got rain today.

  4. Dew…. sprinkle… no one can tell the difference 😉
This is so pretty! The yellow really pops agains the dark green background.

  5. Your garden is absolutely amazing! I love it and your nurturing clearly shows through. I’ll try to post something similar in the fall or spring. Summer is just too too too hot.

    • Aw, thank you for such kind words, Tammy.

Looking forward to seeing your little corner of heaven! 🙂

  6. Looks simply amazing Tracy, with some gorgeous colour too… Almost makes me want to plant some in my garden… 😉

    • Thanks, Brian!

No need to plant these, Brian, as they are an annual flower! You just need to go to your local nursery or home improvement center and scoop up an already-plantd pot. How simple is that? 🙂

      • Yeah I tried that once before, but they died… Someone mentioned something about them requiring watering, but I wasn’t really listening… Lol… An even simpler solution would be to just go to my local nursery and look at their flowers… or just hang over my neighbours fence… 😉

      • Ha! Hmmmmm in that case then yeah, I guess that would be best! 🙂

  7. Simply Beautiful… really. Also, must say your new book looks real nice. 🙂 Great job with it and I wish you much success 🙂

    • Thank you, Amber! (for the compliment and for checking out the book!) Much appreciated! 🙂

  8. Beautiful composition and photograph, you really got to sell your stuff to hallmark 🙂

    • Thank you, Consuelo! That is so sweet of you to say!

Hmmmm, if only I had any clue how to do that! 🙂

  9. Beautiful photo with great composition and colour combination, not speaking about DOF 😉 It truly looks like a sun on the background of black universe.

    • Thank you, Tomas! What a lovely description… I never looked at it that way before! 🙂

  10. Great detail!
